Tiemoue Bakayoko has started impressing at the San Siro and is gradually establishing himself as a mainstay in Gennaro Gattuso’s team with his recent consistent performances.
Cesc Fabregas, on the other hand, still wants to remain with Chelsea but has been relegated to a substitute role by the arrival of Jorginho at Stamford Bridge.
The Spanish midfielder has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge as his contract which ends in the summer is yet to be renewed.
The likes of AC Milan in the Serie A have been heavily linked with a move for the creative midfielder. In light of this, reports are rife that AC Milan are in talks with Chelsea for the aforementioned midfielders.
Calciomercarto have revealed that Milan are making efforts to reduce the cost of acquiring Fabregas from Chelsea.
The report states that the Seria A outfit is willing to pay €10m for Fabregas. However, his demand of €5m per season until 2021 could hamper the deal.
Milan are also trying to lower the €35m option to sign Bakayoko at the end of the season.
They hope to secure the Frenchman on a permanent deal and they believe that his relationship with Federico Pastorello, who is the intermediary, can boost their chances of keeping him.
