According to reports from CalcioMercato, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is in talks with Milan bosses, Leonardo, and Maldini ahead of a proposed move to the San Siro.
The report claims that Milan are also not sure they’ll be able to complete a deal for the Spaniard and are considering other targets like Paredes from Zenit Saint Petersburg and Celta Vigo’s Lobotka.
Cesc Fabregas joined Chelsea in 2014 and has played his part nicely for the Blues in two Premier League triumphs.
However, his contract with Chelsea expires in the summer and he will be allowed to negotiate a pre-contract with clubs in Europe but not in England.
Chelsea seem prepared to let him leave as they have enough bodies in midfield. AC Milan, on the other hand, are interested in a January move for the Spaniard if they can agree a deal with Chelsea.
The Rossoneri are on the lookout for an experienced midfielder in Gennaro Gattuso’s setup, and Fabregas fits the bill. However, the player’s wages may pose a challenge to the materialization of a deal.
